Happy 2017!

Happy New Year everyone! (is it still acceptable to say that??) Last year was so hectic for me, good and bad. Mostly, what I learned was that life is too short to be ANYTHING but happy! I started living with that motto late 2016, but I’m bringing it with me into 2017!

So with that, I’m starting a fashion blog! This has been a dream of mine to start for a really long time now.

Here’s a little about myself:

• I’m an 18 year old student currently studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM)!
• I’m a Visual Communications major and styling is my passion!
• I started a Youtube channel over the Summer, but found out that writing is more of my passion rather than editing (props to Youtubers, it’s sooooooo time consuming!)
• My dream is to become a successful stylist, whether it’s styling myself with the help of my blog, styling other people, or even styling mannequins. Just hand me some clothes to put together and I’ll be happy!

Now that you have learned a little bit about me..let’s learn about my style. The name of my blog says it all: I’m a sucker for deals when shopping for my closet. I want to be able to inspire people to embrace their fashion sense without spending hundreds of dollars on just one outfit! You shouldn’t feel guilty when buying clothes- instead, why not feel guiltless since you just saved money on such a glamorous item?! (see what I did there?) I’m here to help you save while still wearing current trends.

As I’m sure many know, being a college student isn’t always fun and games. Ever heard of the phrase “broke college student”? Yup, that’s me! But, I’m not going to let these student loans stop me from shopping! Who’s with me?!
