The secret’s out…Hourglass Cosmetics has officially launched their new lipstick collection, Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick! Throughout the past week, Hourglass has been posting some pretty mysterious photos hinting at their new product, but no one knew what it was! My friend, Jackie Flores (@thejackieflowers), and I were guessing that it was an eyeliner based on the thin packaging..but we were taken by surprise when we arrived to their launch party last night!
The overall theme of the event was basically as if you were scandalous, sinful, or even a rebel! The lipsticks were all throughout the venue- they were used as decoration, display, and you could even swatch the shades with your thumb as if you were taking a fingerprint since you are in “jail”! There were small rooms that were decorated with different scenes to fit the rebellious theme. The picture above shows one of the rooms that were there, and it was called the “Vacant Motel Room”!
There are 32 available shades, and the formula is outstandingly creamy and hydrating…and it’s cruelty free! Two of my requirements when purchasing a lipstick…so how perfect is that?! Don’t forget to check out their new lipsticks on their website!
I had so much fun at the event, and it was the perfect way to kick off my first official week living in LA! Ahhh! Still can’t believe it..feels like a dream come true.
