I think it’s pretty obvious at this point that I’m OBSESSED with Halloween. “Obsessed” isn’t even really a strong enough word to describe my passion for this holiday. Like, I’m THAT friend who always hosts spooky movie nights, parties, dinners, etc. Same thing goes for Christmas, but Halloween is definitely more my vibe. The dark aesthetic, cozy weather, classic scary movies… what a happy time.
After posting a poll on my stories, it became pretty clear that you guys are on the same page as me when it comes to contemporary and simple Halloween decor. When it comes to decorating, for any holiday/occasion, I like to keep it light and airy while sticking to neutral colors. HALLOWEEN HOME DECOR FINDS
My biggest tip to styling your home for Halloween is to stick to a theme and not go overboard. This year, Cali and I (it’s our first Halloween in our apartment!!!) went for a haunted theme: skeletons, spiders, webs, and bats. These decorations generally already come in neutral colors, which made it very easy to mix into my mid century decor.
